This CD provides a resource that can be used by tutors who deliver, and students who are following a Key Skills ICT course at Levels 1 or 2.

It contains 12 interactive multiple-choice question papers, each containing 40 multiple-choice questions (six for Level 1 and six for Level 2). These tests assess the candidates’ ability to identify main points and ideas in spreadsheets using a range of formulae; databases and text files. The ability to understand the significance of repositioning and resizing images, working safely and observing and copyright laws is also included, together with understanding the uses, and benefits, of electronic communication.

The opportunity to practise many multiple-choice papers will encourage an understanding of the techniques involved and will engender confidence and competence for the test.

Once a candidate has taken the test results, feedback and guidance are provided.

The software can be installed and operated on any standard PC running Windows 2000, Windows 2003 or Windows XP.

The program may also be installed and operated from a shared folder on a network server.
